WELCOME TO CLUB RHINO
(Rural Health in Northern Outback)

RHINO is the student rural health club of James Cook University in Townsville, North Queensland. RHINO was founded in August 2000 and our aims are to promote rural health issues and opportunities within the health disciplines of the university, like medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology and many more. RHINO provides many rewarding activities for its members, that are both fun and educational.

These include trips away to rural locations around North Queensland, guest speakers from around Australia and the world, skills nights, social events, conference attendance and heaps more!

5-8pm at Med Building 46
The night will include workshops on:
-Cannulations
-Plastering
-Trauma Management
-Sports Strapping

As well as:
-Indigenous Guest Speaker
-Free Pizza and Drinks

$10 for Members, $15 for non-members

3/03/2011: Members Launch Party!!!
The RHINO Members Launch Party will be held at The Riverview Tavern at 8pm Tonight (3 March).
$10 for Members, $15 for non-members. Theme: Safari.

10/02/2011: Register Online Now!
Membership for RHINO is now organised online under Administration > Membership. Simply fill out the form and organise a method of payment.


02/02/2011: NRHSN finalises 2011 Leaders
The National Rural Health Students Network (NRHSN) serves as the representative body for all Australian Rural Health Clubs. It today released the executive leaders for 2011.
